As part of a number of planned capital improvement projects for this summer, work has begun to replace the asphalt on Campus Drive between Kagey Road and Route 29. This may mean access to Evergreen, Perkiomen Valley Middle School East and the high school will be restricted during the summer months. Starting June 26, the entrance to High School/Campus Drive from Route 29 will be shut down so that storm drains can be replaced.

This work is part of a planned $1,093,000 expenditure to replace the asphalt and in ground sewer catch basins on Campus Drive. This is the first phase of a multi-phased project to address the entire road structure on the campus in an effort to provide a sturdier foundation and better durability in the years to come. The completion date for this first phase of the project is estimated to be in mid-August.

Other construction projects that will be taking place this summer include renovation of the high school pool, various roof replacements to five school buildings, and masonry work in the high school band room. Please click here for more information on those projects.
