posted Sep 13, 2020, 2:22 PM by Chris Hughes   [ updated Sep 18, 2020, 3:07 PM ]

Dear PVMS East Parents,

Thank you to everyone who attended our virtual MTTN last evening. We so appreciated your positive feedback. We really enjoyed the opportunity to share about our curriculum as well as help you get to know us better. We will be posting a link on our website in the near future so that you can watch a recording of the event.

As today is September 11th, our teachers have acknowledged ‘Patriots Day’ and the anniversary of 9-11 with their students. It is important that we remember.

Activity Night

There will be an Activity Night this evening that is sponsored by our East Home & School Association. It will be a Kahoot! Trivia activity for 1 hour. Students will be sent a separate email with log in information. Although a student can use one device and toggle between screens, the trivia game is a better experience with 2 devices. Students must use their real name and prizes will be awarded randomly based on participation. There will be no prizes for the top scores, so please encourage your child to participate and have fun! The times are as follows:

  • 6th Grade @6PM
  • 7th Grade @7PM
  • 8th Grade @8PM

PBIS

Please read the attached letter and view this presentation on PBIS (Positive Behaviors Interventions and Supports) that was shared with your students. There are virtual learning behavioral expectations that we want you to be aware of so that you can support us.

Students must submit a completed application by next Friday, September 18th at 3:00PM to be considered for participation in this 1st Semester.  Mentoring groups will meet weekly on Monday & Wednesday OR Tuesday & Thursday.
